the Mission
We started Bean & Leaf with a simple vision: Provide quality fresh-roasted coffee beans, the finest teas, properly prepared, delicious beverages, a focus on being good global citizens through fair, responsible coffee and tea buying practices, and the use of environmentally sound packaging. Our take out cups are biodegradable as are our straws, stir sticks, lids, and sleeves. We recycle nearly everything and compost our coffee grounds.

Looking for great coffee, tea, a light meal or something sweet? Come in and see what everybody is talking about. Bean & Leaf offers toasted sandwiches, soups, salads, smoothies all made to order and a variety of locally baked, baked goods that will satisfy a wide range of appetites. Our "ESP Triple Ristretto" espresso shots are the basis for all espresso based drinks and our popular House Blend drip coffee is a local staple. We serve exceptional artisanal teas with over twenty choices to satisfy a vast array of personal taste. We offer Free Hi-Speed WiFi Internet to all of our customers and we are constantly scheduling events that you won't want to miss! Be sure to check our calendar for upcoming events!

The Expansion
We are excited for our recent expansion as we have just moved our artisanal roasting operation into a new headquarters by the waterfront. As always we encourage our interested customers to inquire about roasting tours at our facility. We roast our fairly traded, organic coffees by hand in small batches and love to share our knowledge of coffee with those who want to learn.

Organic & Fair Trade All the coffees and the majority of teas we purchase are Fairly Traded and Organic. We work directly with one of the most respected advocates for coffee growers in the industry today to ensure the people who grow and harvest our coffees are rewarded fairly for their efforts.
