This is often the default choice for ceilings, and for good reason – white in décor lifts and lightens. On a ceiling, this visually raises the height of the ceiling itself. If you don’t want to go with pure white, it’s recommended that you at least choose a color that is lighter than your walls.
To transform your powder room into a reflective jewel box, replace your chrome fixtures with brass elements and give the ceiling a coat of gold paint. The same can be done to almost any room in your home. Just make sure you carefully select the right golden touches — and don’t overaccessorize.
Excessive moisture is an inevitable fact in bathrooms, which can often result in condensation and mould growth in walls and ceilings. However, ceiling cladding panels are fully waterproof, which means that this ceiling solution prevents the appearance of damp, condensation, and other related problems.
One problem with small bathrooms is short ceilings. As you might expect, using dark colors for your ceilings will make it seem low. Avoid white (unless your walls are also white), which will stop one’s eyes right at the ceiling line. Using the same color for the wall and ceiling will help the eye travel effortlessly throughout the space, giving once again, the appearance of a larger bathroom.
