In a small bathroom there’s not a lot of room for storage. It’s why you need to get creative and to come up with ingenious ideas. Whether it’s a strategically placed shelf, a small storage cabinet squeezed in a corner or a wall-mounted unit, the important thing is to make sure the room doesn’t become cluttered. The five bathrooms we have selected as examples might be small but they surely don’t lack storage space.
An over the toilet shelf is a good design option when the toilet is adjacent to the sink and the space directly above them features a wall-mounted mirror or some other element. In these cases, the sink vanity extends into a shelf.
Simple wooden floating shelves are possibly the easiest DIY solution for bathroom storage. You can build them however long you need them to be and they will match with a myriad of decorating styles.
Because this bathroom is narrow, the solution was to have a corner storage unit placed above the bathtub unit or bathroom suites for small bathrooms. It has both open and hidden storage spaces and can be sued both from inside the tub and from the other side of the bathroom. It’s great for storing towels, lotions as well as for displaying a few decorations.
