Forget about complicated and time-consuming cleaning and maintenance routines – ceiling cladding panels can be easily kept in perfect condition by simply wiping them off with a damp soapy cloth. Unlike painted ceilings, cladding panels do not attract dirt and do not require regular coats of paint.
Ceilings painted dark gray, navy or black create a dramatic and intimate feeling in a room. Since they can make the ceiling feel lower, spaces with high ceilings or abundant natural light are an excellent choice to experiment with a darker color.
While grand bathrooms with expansive skylights often make up product brochures and magazine covers, the smaller units that light up the tiny bathrooms are the real workhorses. If you have a dark, small bathroom with no windows, a skylight is the best way to really enliven the place. If a direct skylight is not possible, then at least explore the possibility of a tubular sun tunnel skylight to illuminate the small area. Remember that the skylight also makes the room appear a lot more visually airy, as it brings a part of the outdoors inside. This is a benefit that simply no pendant or chandelier can offer!
Create a rustic retreat in your bathroom with a decorating style that brings nature inside. For a rustic bathroom ceiling design, choose wood-look ceiling planks in weathered or pine. For a more spacious feel, light ash or maple are beautiful choices.
